The Haglöf Vertex set 5 is a system, which has been tested in practice and meets the high requirements for measurements and inventory in forestry. This kit allows height measurement, distances and angles, in forest plantations. Haglöf Vertex 5, in combination with transponder T3, serves for precise and easy ultrasonic distance measurement. Even in dense plantations, it gives accurate results. Robust aluminum housing, easy handling of the device and reading the reports, are other advantages of the kit. Built-in Vertex 5 temperature sensor, helps reduce deviations, due to ambient temperature. The device can transmit the reports wirelessly, via infrared or Bluetooth to the Haglöf Link smartphone app, to computer benches, field computers or other similar devices.

To the Haglöf Vertex set 5 the Haglöf Transponder T3 transponder also declines. It performs the function of a clearly visible reference point, for ultrasonic measurement and can be mounted directly on trees or with the 360 ​​° adapter (included in the set), to a single-legged tripod (also incl. included). This configuration allows measurements in test circular areas (with a diameter up to 20 m). The set is placed in a practical transport case and includes batteries (1,5 V AA).
