Vertex Laser Geo is a technically advanced system for professional measurements in the forest and in the field. It provides accurate results for heights, distances, Bluetooth, compass, GPS, USB 2.0, SSD disk.
The rangefinder has a precision laser, integrated tilt sensor and compass, for precise 3D measurements. The results are displayed on an integrated head-up display, and also on the outside, graphic display.
The orange Vertex Laser Ge model contains proven ultrasonic technology for measuring distances to 30 m, in dense plantations and in test areas. The integrated GPS receiver works with 5-position, numeric ID attributes. Important data are marked with their current coordinates, by pressing a button. The data is stored on an SSD card and via USB 2.0 can be transferred to a computer or Mac. No special installation driver is required. The data can also be opened in the field in GIS or another application, and can be processed, without additional conversion program. For more specific actions, e.g.. for measuring areas, 3D-mapping and tracking, has built-in features, which are available without additional tools. 3The vector function allows the measurement of horizontal objects, e.g.. crown width.
The integrated ultrasonic function allows quick detection, whether a tree is within the sample area or not. For measuring heights, depending on the parameters of the plantation or terrain conditions, can be entered 1-point, 2-current or 3-point measurement. The red threaded cross, serves for easy targeting of individual objects. The integrated Bluetooth V4 feature is economical and allows wireless data transfer to a computer, even over longer distances. Built-in, Durable Li-Ion battery has a large capacity and is charged with a Mini-USB cable.
